Job Openings in GO-Buffalo's Recycle-A-Bicycle Program!

Position Opening: Recycle-A-Bicycle Instructor

Green Options Buffalo (GO-Buffalo) is expanding its Recycle-A-Bicycle program into a handful of new host facilities and is looking for qualified, enthusiastic program instructors to teach school-aged children the basics of bicycle repair and maintenance, as well as the environmental impacts of our transportation choices.

Details:

  1. New positions start on April 12th, 2010.
  2. $15/hour, roughly 10 hours/week, Mondays through Thursdays during school year.
  3. Option to expand position full-time through Americorps

Qualifications:

  1. Strong commitment to youth leadership, sustainable communities and bicycle transportation
  2. Basic mechanical skills, knowledge of bicycle repair and maintenance, and a firm grasp on the environmental impacts of transportation
